Ladies of Harley

April 5, 2008 Women's Conference at Gator Harley - these are the Daytona LOH
members who attended.....along with Betty
Fauls, the 76-year old daughter
of “MOTOR MAIDS” co-founder and cycling pioneer Dot Robinson. Betty has been
riding cycles since she was seven; she hopes to ride until she’s 82, the age her
mother reached before giving up her iron horse. Betty’s logged 65 years... she’s
our hero!

Ladies of Harley was established to be an
additional feature of the Harley Owners Group, not a separate entity. It
was created to include women in HOG® activities, not to exclude men.
To belong to LOH, you
must be an active full, full life, associate, or associate
life member of HOG. Although LOH is free of charge, this benefit is not
automatic. If you would like to join, update your national membership profile to
include LOH.
We are presently looking for a director for the Daytona LOH, but we'd still love to hear from you with any events you'd like to sponsor. Sponsoring an event involves only as much participation from you as you'd like to give, i.e. suggest a location, make reservations, guide the ride. You do not have to lead the ride or even announce the ride if you'd rather not be any more involved. Contact Mike with your ideas.
To "sponsor" an event, you merely need to suggest a location or event you'd like to take part in, and we'll coordinate it. We have been working on some inter-chapter rides so the ladies of all the local HOG chapters get to know each other. And if you don't "ride your own" you're always welcome in 4-wheels!
Hog Tales
If you have a great story to tell (everyone does, even if they
don't realize it), put your words to paper and send them in to HOG,
along with a quality color photo of you and your bike. You may find yourself
appearing in Hog Tales®
and on the HOG Web site – and clutching a $500 HOG gift certificate.
